In 1998, salon owner Margy McHale ventured upon a space in Old Town Gaithersburg that was once an old grain mill. With the original brick and hand carved beams, Margy created a space that is both unique to the area and to hair salons as we know them.
Originally known as Artists & Co., Margy renamed the salon in 2008 in honor of her grandmother Aurelia. With a European design, salon features walls finished with a plaster texture, beautiful hardwood floors, twenty foot ceilings, and a floor to ceiling glass storefront which helps illuminate the space with natural daylight.
The mission of her salon has always been to strive for excellence and a commitment to creativity delivered in an uncompromising atmosphere of growth and partnership to our clients, our community, and our planet." Margy and her talented team of stylists invite you to experience service excellence, hair styles that you feel good about, healthy products that won't damage your hair, your health or the environment, all within a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
