The foundation of excellence in aesthetic surgery is functional reconstructive surgery. We get an amazing sense of fulfillment with our elderly population that need our help. Restoring vision is at the core of oculofacial plastic surgery. We work with patient who desire both functional and aesthetic improvement to improve quality of life and appearance. Droopy eyelids can not only be aesthetically undesirable but can at times cause a visual impairment. Our doctors are all trained in both reconstruction and aesthetics and that is at the core of our mantra for excellence. Rainy days were meant for self care @austinfaceandbody. Long term sun exposure, active lifestyle and the wear and tear of everyday living results in visible signs of skin aging, including wrinkles, discoloration, scars and laxity. A fractional treatment, whether ablative or coagulative, allows the epidermis to heal quickly as long as the dermis remains intact. Ablative fractional resurfacing is a well-established treatment that vaporizes aged tissue with less thermal injury, with mild to moderate levels of morbidity and downtime. Conversely, non-ablative fractional resurfacing causes thermal injury and tissue coagulation. The HALO hybrid fractional laser combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths delivered to the same microscopic treatment zone to maximize clinical results and minimize downtimes. HALO is safe and effective, while providing an enhanced patient experience. For added patient comfort and decreased downtime, we utilize platelet rich plasma from your own blood to assist in quicker recovery times. Contact us for details. Meet our aesthetic nurse Ali
As skin ages, it gradually loses its elasticity. A lack of elasticity plus the constant pull from gravity causes excess skin to collect on the upper eyelids. The best candidates for an eye lift are people who are in good health and who have a realistic idea of what they want. Most are 35 years or older, but if baggy eyelids or droopy eyelids run in your family, you may decide to have the surgery done sooner. Upper eyelid surgery is good for at least 5-7 years. Of course, your eyes will still age after the procedure. If your lids sag again, a forehead lift rather than another eye lift may be the preferred. Results seen are with upper eyelid blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Sean Paul.
