It was a big week for our office. We received an order from the court dismissing a DWI case and reversing (rescinding) both the driver's license and license plate impoundment matters for our client. The court agreed with us that the traffic stop was unconstitutional. A fantastic result, one that we are very proud of.
We are excited to announce that we have added appellate practice to our firm. Often people accused of crimes feel they have to settle for the decisions made on various issues at the local trial court level. In some cases, these decisions need to be reviewed by the court of appeals to make sure justice prevails. We are now in the middle of our first appeal.
