So proud of what we have created ... our beautiful Montessori bilingual school!
This beautiful work was given to the school as a gift from a well-known artist and a member of our community.
Lida Penkova, the author of this art piece is one of our students grandmother. The piece represents the meaning of Autana and the relation with the children and Montessori education. You can find more about this amazing artist

Autana is the “tree of life”. The tree that gave life to the Amazon for the Piaroa indigenous culture. The Amazon is a very old area of the earth. Full of life, full of oxygen, fruits, minerals, plants and animals. They say it is the "lung" of planet earth. Like children, the tree of life represents a fresh beginning of life, strength, positive energy, immortality and bright future. The tree produces its roots, settles on the ground and grows by carrying all its essence (immortality) in the seeds it produces when it matures, just like humans when they grow up.
