PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
We sincerely hope that you never need us. However, we want to be the best we can be if you do. To help keep our perishable skills fresh, we spent the past two trainings on one of the more frequent calls for service that we get: auto collisions.
Vehicle collisions can be life threatening with time being of the essence of the patient is suffering from traumatic injuries. Add the delay of extrication from trapped patients, and the reflex time becomes more serious.
To help our skills improve, your Felton volunteer firefighters practiced working a pinned patient, multiple trapped victims with simulated injuries, fire suppression tactics and incident command.
We’d like to thank our partners from Felton Auto Care Towing for setting us up with the cars to practice with, as well as our partners at American Medical Response for training with us!

Our growing team at Auto Care Towing is looking for a motivated, logistically minded young professional. Must have strong communication skills, and knowledge of cars, trucks, and equipment.
We are a family owned and operated towing and recovery facility that operates 24/7/365.
This job supports our towing, impound, emergency response, and breakdown services, and as a result there are pressure points and challenges that require a person able to make multiple correct decisions under pressure.
Our scheduling is flexible, but you must be willing to work weekends and some holidays
Requirements:
* Excellent computer skills necessary.
* Strong work ethic, self-motivated, Self-confident and very organized.
* Strong desire to help people and solve challenging problems.
* Able to work under pressure.
* 1 to 2 years of comparable fast pace work experience preferred.
Duties:
* Take incoming calls for towing service, police impounds, and crashes.
* Coordinate and dispatch multiple drivers
* Take incoming calls for impound release questions
* Perform releases and various duties for impounded vehicles
* Administrative and clerical duties.
* Billing and collection of towing services.
