Today is #PurpleDay because it is #EpilepsyAwarenessDay. Epilepsy affects over 50 million people worldwide, but 70% of people with epilepsy are able to live seizure-free with the proper medication and treatment.

Today is National Medal of Honor Day, and we’d like to recognize our nation’s heroes. Those who earn a Medal of Honor heroically went above and beyond the call of duty in serving our country.
The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration in the United States. The first Medal of Honor was awarded in 1843 to Jacob Parrot, and since then there have been 3,507 service members who earned the medal.
