Biography
Dr. John Ayala received his education at some of the best schools in Texas: Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, The University of Texas in Austin, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin.
He studied general surgery at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine. He completed a five-year general surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso and then returned to Baylor College of Medicine for his three-year residency in Plastic Surgery. During both residencies, at El Paso and at Baylor, Dr. Ayala achieved status as Chief resident.
