Ayan completed her birth doula training at the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations at Bastyr University. As a certified birth doula, Ayan provides families with compassionate support during pregnancy and childbirth. She has experience working with new and immigrant mothers. Ayan believes in serving as an advocate for mothers, informing them about their birth choices and facilitating communication between the mother and caregiver. Ayan is also an apprentice postpartum doula where she supports mothers with emotional and physical recovery after birth, including breastfeeding and infant care support. She is a certified birth assistant and is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery degree from Midwives College of Utah. Ayan enjoys cooking, traveling and the outdoors.
