To All of my Arizona FB friends,
If you have been paying any attention to the changes that ADOT is in process of making.
1. You will no longer be able to walk into a DMV Office or Third Party Office and leave with Title,Plate & Registrations in hand,everything is going to be mailed to you.
2. Electronic Title - No more Paper Titles.
You will have an online account with ADOT that will have all you Vehicle Titles on it.
3. Eventually all Sales & Purchases will be done through your ADOT account you set up through ADOT.
4. If you think this is to make Arizona Cutting Edge on Title Transactions as ADOT says.
Well think about it,they will know every Vehicle you Purchase or Sale & while they have your money sitting in an ADOT account what an easy way to start charging sales tax on private sales,they already have your Money,
Also end of year every transaction is turned over to Uncle Sammy to slap a few more taxes on it.
I don’t know exactly how,but we need to fight this,I like having Paper Titles,I like being handed my Plates & my Registrations handed to me,not mailed to me by our Half Assed Snail Mail & Hope I get it.
Hopefully it doesn’t end up on someone else’s car while I receive all the Tickets & God forbid there is an accident with your plate on the wrong vehicle.
Whenever the Government says the have a New Idea,I suggest you hide your CheckBook.
I would like to start a Petition against this,If anyone could contact me as to how I would start one.
