Azadeh Beheshtian, MD, of the Sovereign Medical Group in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She specializes in interventional cardiology and peripheral artery disease, with a focus on women’s heart health.
Dr. Beheshtian studied at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, and earned her doctor of medicine in April 2004. She completed a three-year post-doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco. From 2009 to 2012, Dr. Beheshtian had an internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California.
