Ray received his undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology + Kinesiology from University of Florida in 2013. He continued his education at Florida Gateway College, graduating as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Ray has worked with multiple soccer teams in the central Florida area, and also enjoys fishing and being outdoors. His favorite PT exercise is the squat!

Meet Jody Rappaport, another one of our fantastic therapists! Jody graduated with her MSPT from Boston University in 1996 and spent her first 4 years working in rehabilitation hospitals. She has been practicing in outpatient PT since 2000 with an emphasis on manual therapy. She loves biking, paddle boarding and kayaking locally with her husband and kids, and traveling to explore and hike our National Parks are among her favorite activities. Her favorite exercise is Downward Dog, but that may just be due to her love of all dogs!
According to the Institute of Medicine of The National Academies, over 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. Of those 100 million, 15% suffer from chronic neck pain. This award recognizes a graduate who has demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and is awarded based on feedback from clinical instructors and the USF DPT Director of Clinical Education. We are so proud of Garrett and his accomplishments!

Meet Verlencia, our fantastic Westchase DPT! Verlencia graduated with her DPT back in 2014 from Florida A+M. Along with her degree, V is also involved in multiple other physical therapy endeavors including her post-doctoral fellowship as well as becoming a running rehabilitation specialist. She has experience as a clinical educator for physical therapy students, helping many Tampa Bay PT students get the most value out of their clinical rotations. She loves to work out, eat, and travel when she isn't at the clinic, and her favorite exercise is the deadlift!
Surprise! Today's clinician is also celebrating his birthday today! Happy birthday to Garrett, the latest addition to our clinician team! Garrett graduated last year from USF with his DPT soon after being a student physical therapist doing clinical rotations with us. He is now an official member of our team, and works primarily at our Carrollwood location. He loves watching football, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with his girlfriend Ali (another one of our former student PTs!) His favorite exercises are open book rotations and eccentric step downs. Hope your birthday is a great one Garrett! We appreciate you!
