I’ve been on crutches for six weeks! During this time, I’ve learned that it can be difficult to be a good patient - it requires patience, listening to your doctor, and following his or her recommendations - something that can be difficult! As a surgeon, I try to educate my patients about all aspects of their surgery and recovery!
