We are a proud member of The Conservation Alliance. Their mission is to harness the collective power of business and outdoor communities to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places. Twice annually, they bring this mission to life by awarding grants to grassroots conservation organizations that have been nominated by member companies. The Summer 2020 Grant Cycle just wrapped up and they are awarding a total of $950,000 to groups working to secure new protections for remote wild lands and waters, as well as for close-to-home trails and open spaces. This new group of grantees is collectively working to protect more than 52 million acres and 125 river miles; defend more than one million acres from the threat of mining; and acquire one climbing area. Are any of these projects in your backyard? Take a look: http://ow.ly/onuO50BHX20 📸: Idaho Conservation League #wekeepitwild #ourwildfuture

Today marks #EqualPayDay - timed to represent how far into the year women must work to equal what men earned the previous year. While it is earlier than it’s ever been since its inception in 1996, there is still a long road ahead for #GenderEquality. Nearly 3 million women have left the U.S. workforce since the start of the pandemic. How do we ensure the advancements women have made are not wiped out by COVID? How can women and allies create a more sustainable work environment? How can we normalize these conversations? Join an inspiring line-up of panelists for a #LinkedInLIVE discussion where we will cover these questions and more. It's National Panda Day! #DYK that the biological diversity of the panda’s habitat is unparalleled in the temperate world and rivals that of tropical ecosystems, making the giant panda an excellent example of an umbrella species conferring protection on many other species where pandas live. In other words, when we protect pandas, we invariably protect other animals that live around them, such as multicolored pheasants, the golden monkey, takin, and crested ibis. Pandas also bring sustainable economic benefits to many local communities through ecotourism. Consider supporting World Wildlife Fund's efforts equipping people with the tools and knowledge they need to protect pandas and their habitat. #NationalPandaDay #Conservation #WWF
