🤪😝Sounds weird, actually works!!! 💡Have you heard of DINTEO? It’s a way to take control of your food cravings. And it’s a 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 tactic to handle those times when you’re suddenly confronted with yummy baked goods at work or a display of your favorite (junky) food at the grocery store. 🗣All you do is ask yourself: “Do I need this eating opportunity?” (DINTEO) Like I said - sounds strange, but it actually helps take the control away from the food and gives it back to YOU! It’s surprisingly powerful. 🔥 We are blessed with SO MANY “eating opportunities” in our world today – it’s just up to us to choose which ones help us reach our goals and which ones don’t. 👍🏾✨Try it for yourself and see!

⚡Let’s talk about ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS! ⚡ 🥤If you use them because you crave sweets, you might be setting yourself up for even MORE SUGAR CRAVINGS. I know it seems weird but … 😲Scientists say non-caloric sweeteners can change how sensitive your taste buds are to sweetness. Some of them are 200 to 20,000 times sweetener than actual sugar!!! 👉🏾Over time, this can cause you to crave even MORE sugar. 💯The Takeaway: be mindful when it comes to your intake of artificial sweeteners and your cravings! When was the last time you had a diet soda??? (Seriously, try it right now. It’s kind of magical!) 👉🏾 This works with your body’s nervous system (through your vagus nerve) to help shut down your body’s stress response AND release feel-good relaxing hormones, helping to calm you! The "Diet Mentality" is one of the most insidious ways we don't lose weight. It's based around all the foods you CAN'T eat on a diet — and it throws off our relationship with food (which causes us to gain more weight when we stop dieting). Here's the funny thing about diets: If you restrict your calories TOO much, it slows down your metabolism. This depletes your energy and makes it nearly impossible to keep any weight you lost off. Here are 6 ways you can boost your metabolism, so you can lose weight faster (and keep it off for longer): https://gettingfit.com/increase-your-metabolism/ #metabolismboost #fitnesstips #weightlosstips GETTINGFIT.COM Increase Your Metabolism | Expert Personal Trainers in Nashville
** NUTRITION METHOD THAT WORKS: ** So much of conventional diet mentality is taking foods away. It's all about deprivation and denying yourself different foods, "cutting out" stuff. So forcing yourself to give up foods you love, as you've probably experienced, is NOT a good way to stay motivated and on track! So instead of CUTTING OUT things you love (wine, chocolate, bread, pasta, sugar), do this instead: Put healthy food IN. Eat nutritious foods that fill you up first. Fill your plate with real food first - you’ll be more likely to eat fewer calories than you used to, and you won’t feel hungry all the time. Examples of real food: Proteins like meats, poultry, fish, and eggs. Veggies. Any and all. Some fruit (not too much, it's higher in calories than veggies). Healthy fats like avocado and nuts. THEN after you've eaten the Real Food, you can make some decisions about what else you may want. After dinner, will you really want that extra bread? You just had a great mixed green salad with salmon for lunch, you're probably not hungry so you're not tempted to add a donut into that mix. And if you *really* want a donut after a healthy lunch, you'll probably be satisfied with a couple bites instead of eating the whole thing. See where this is going? You don't have to give up your favorite foods! Just makes sure that your FOOD FOCUS is REAL FOOD FIRST. Then your favorite add-ons become treats rather than a staple in your diet. Real Food First.
