The FemTouch is a CO2 laser that delivers energy to the vaginal canal. This stimulates the cells in the vaginal mucosa to produce additional collagen, an essential component for vaginal health. The procedure is virtually painless and takes approximately 10 minutes. We recommend that patients receive three treatments spaced 6 weeks apart for optimal efficacy.
This procedure is currently not covered by insurance. Although several clinical trials have shown excellent results, this is unlikely to change given that surgical and hormonal options are readily available for these vaginal health issues.
