BAYADA Home Care is accepting applications who are interested in becoming the next BAYADA Personal Care Aide. This is an unpaid training program blending an online Zoom classroom and clinical skills. This training program will incorporate skills and protocols needed to properly care for our kupuna such as...
- Infection Control and hand hygiene
- Assisting with basic human needs
- Medication assistance
- How to deal with various medical/mental conditions
- Transferring/bed baths/skin care
- Mechanical Lifts
- Catheter/Foley Care
- And much much more!
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year verifiable work experience in any field
- Must be available to attend and complete the 5, two hour Zoom meetings and in person skills check
- Recent TB Clearance
- Recent CPR/First Certifications, if you don't have that, we can offer you training with a fee
After completion of the program, you will become part of BAYADA Home Care as a Personal Care Aide and will be eligible for medical, dental, and other benefits as long as you maintain 20 or more hours every week.
