Today is International Women’s Day – it’s a day to inspire, to look at how far women have come, and to celebrate female achievements.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we would like to recognize one of our dearest faculty members, Dr. Jocelyn Greely. Dr. Greely has been a part of the Baylor family for over 10 years and currently serves as our OBGYN Clerkship Director. In 2016, Dr. Greely was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she is now cancer free and sharing her story in hopes of helping others facing the same situation. "As 2020 draws to a close I would like to sincerely thank everyone in our Department for their efforts and dedication to our patients and to each other during what has been an unprecedented and difficult time. Duncan is probably the only one in our family who has not experienced difficulty and advises everyone to learn from him and chill out over the Holidays! I am constantly amazed and proud of our Department and I feel so privileged to work with y’all and to support the incredible things you do on a daily basis. Please be safe and look after yourselves and your families during this Holiday season - the vaccine is here and we can hope that next year will see a resumption of normalcy in our world.”
