Bayside Urology is a single-physician urology practice with convenient locations in Clearwater and Dunedin, Florida. Led by founder and president Cesar Abreu, MD, the practice values patient-centered, one-on-one care for people of all ages. Dr. Abreu personalizes each care plan using proven treatment guidelines and his extensive background in urology.
Dr. Abreu earned his bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, in 1974. For his medical education, he attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. Following his graduation with his medical degree, he returned to Pennsylvania to complete an internship at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia.
In 1983, Dr. Abreu completed his residency training in general surgery at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. He then completed a urology residency in Baltimore, Maryland, at the University of Maryland. There, he served as chief resident of the urology program. Upon completing his urology residency, Dr. Abreu and his family moved to Clearwater, Florida, to open Bayside Urology.
Today, Bayside Urology is a choice clinic for patients experiencing urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, urinary tract infections, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and more. Dr. Abreu and his team strive to meet a high standard of excellence and meet or exceed every new and returning patient’s expectations. He and his team are involved in and have a strong passion for continuous learning and improvement.
