BBSI is currently recruiting for a General Manager for a radio group located in SE Idaho and NE Utah. This is a new position created due to growth of the organization.

The stations provide a unique product to small communities and become their source for news and high school sports including broadcasting local sporting events live on the internet.

The General Manager leads all aspects of the radio stations, including revenue generation, programming, operations, marketing and staff, while serving and growing the audience to fulfill the goal of becoming an essential local institution. The General Manager must be community-focused, passionate about the region and effective at helping grow the stations revenue, develop and maintain effective staff, organizational structure, and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage business overall, including budget planning and budget management.
- Manage current employees.
- Interview and hire new employees as outlined in the budget and overall business plan that will be established with the owners.
- Manage Sales Staff - motivate, train, inspire, encourage the sales team to promote business growth.
- Personal Sales (possibly based on the business plan to be established with owners).
- Represent the radio stations in the communities served.
- File and maintain required compliance reports with appropriate entities.
- Be involved in community and regional events.
Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships among local leaders, businesses and influential members of the community; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to think critically and solve problems; good judgment and organizational skills and strong leadership and experience building high performing teams.
Additional qualifications include:
- Radio, television, journalism or digital media experience preferred but not required.
- Prefer candidates with management and sales experience.
- Ability and experience in sales and sales management
- Prefer candidates that are local to the region, living within proximity to Preston, Soda Springs, or Pocatello. Some travel required in the region.

As a Customer Service Rep, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, customers, producers and brokers within the insurance industry. We're looking for someone who is an effective communicator, willing to take ownership of a situation, collaborate with others and eager to serve.
Responsibilities include: Answering calls, schedule appointments, and resolve customer concerns. Current P&C and Life Insurance license is preferred, but not required. A working knowledge of standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) is expected.
This is a full-time position working 8:00-5:00, Monday-Friday starting between $12-$14/hour.
