Started in the early 2000’s, “Be A Star!” is one of the pioneering shows in all of Live Band Karaoke!
With a weekly residency at the San Manuel Casino in California back in 2004 (that lasted almost a half decade), the show solidified itself early on as one of the best in the world. Since then, the show has continued to grow in popularity, expand its song selection and gain recognition as the premier show for live band karaoke.
Steel Rod is the main cover band behind the “Be A Star!” show, which was dubbed by fans early on, and still is to this day, known by many as “Sing with Steel Rod.” They brought in additional professionals to ensure that Be A Star! was more of an interactive concert than just a band playing songs
