James Beam was born and raised in the State of Texas. After attending Midwestern State University where James was nominated for the prestigious freshman of the year award and earned his BBA in Economics cum laude, he and his family moved to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech School of Law. James received the presidential scholarship while at Tech and was a co-founder of the Tax Law Society. He also received his MBA from the Texas Tech School of Business.
