We are sad to announce the closure of our Bountiful site. Between low attendance, COVID & being located under a nursing home (high risk!) we are no longer able to financially sustain this location.
We want to thank the volunteers from that area who helped us out with cleaning, scout projects, donations ect... You helped us make the last year awesome. Your deeds have not been unnoticed or unappreciated. THANK YOU!
On the brightside, we are in stages of negotiating to take over a beautiful, bright dance studio in Draper this fall as our lease comes to an end in Riverton! We will keep you posted on our progress as we are confident that this location will remain strong.

THIS IS AMAZING! As of today, we have had $2655.00 donated between Facebook, Paypal and Venmo! Not only will we be able to replace our catalytic converter and the O2 sensor, but we will be able to purchase new tires and perform much-needed maintenance on BOTH BUSSES! The state Board of Nursing has made modifications to the Nurse Practice Act and it is now open for public comment! The entire document with its modifications can be found at the link below (~pg.22), but I have taken screenshots of the most significant portions (as far as our day program is concerned). Just found out you have to pay in person OR you can go to rivertonhigh.org & you'll need to select Silver Rush "hoody" or t-shirt.

It was my turn today. Your turn is coming! The more people who get this vaccine, the sooner we can ease many of these restrictions we have learned to live with. Ask me if you have any questions about the vaccine. I've read a bunch about it recently and am very pleased with the information I've learned. I'm grateful for science and modern medicine that brought us this vaccine so quickly.

Yesterday we received this amazing donation from Shalise Benjamin and her daughter Danica. Shalise's brother Trent Veenendaal passed away 11 years ago.. In his honor, they provided pudding (Trent's favorite), batteries, printer paper, soda, laundry detergent, plastic bins, and snacks! We are so thankful!
Our Christmas break was so fun. And we're so grateful we could open back up this week. Now we're focusing on celebrating the New Year! 🎉

Today we tried something different and made a snowman out of baking soda and conditioner ⛄️
It was so fun, it was cold just like actual snow! Along with building mini snowmen we've been learning about Alaska, we enjoyed salmon, learned about Alaskan snow farms and so much more.
Our fingers are crossed that we get real snow soon!🤞🏼

The crafteteria has had a bit of fun this week watching Phantom Of The Opera, The Oscars & The Tony's and also making some masquerade masks!
Ben, Kenna, Kevin, and Maura had so much fun picking out colors of paint & feathers and putting them together. They were all very excited to show theirs off.

Fun fact we learned last week ...
This children's icon was named because of a hunt President Theodore Roosevelt attended in the Mississippi Delta in 1902 where he refused to kill a black bear. The Teddy Bear is the state toy of Mississippi, and each year a different commemorative teddy bear is sold at the Great Delta Bear Affair.
Our friend Ms. Angie brought in chocolate scented bears for us to choose from & it's safe to say we were all elated!! Thanks Angie!

We have learned about Mississippi this week along with much more! The Teddy Bears are from our nice friend Angie for Valentines and Teddy Bears are also created in Mississippi 🐻
