Beaumont Family Practice is now offering the Rapid Covid-19 (SARS-Cov-2) Antigen test. Antigen tests are immunoassays that detect the presence of a specific viral antigen, which implies current viral infection.
• Nasal Swab
• Test results available within 15 minutes
• Medical patients will call and schedule an appointment with a provider either in office or Telehealth
• Provider will order the Covid 19 antigen test based off of the patient assessment.
• If you are not a patient at Beaumont Family Practice, testing is available in our Southeast Texas Occupational Medicine department.
• The cost of the SARS-Cov-2 Antigen test is $100 Cash Pay.

Must have experience as a medical assistant and also working in an electronic medical records system.

• Patient Triage - checking a patient’s vital signs, which include blood pressure, pulse, breathing rate, temperature, height and weight.
• Patient Charting - responsible for assuring patient charts/encounters are documented complete and correct before and after each visit.
• Help patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
• Verifies patient information, recording medical history, medications and confirming purpose of visit.
• Maintains medical supplies inventory
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following the office policy and complying with HIPAA standards.

On January 4, 2021, Beaumont Family Practice began accepting appointments for Covid-19 vaccinations. As of today, January 8, 2021, the vaccine allocation received by Beaumont Family Practice has been scheduled out in full and all vaccines are accounted for. For any vaccine appointment cancellations, we will proceed to call patients already on a waiting list.
