Becker Appliance, a family owned company serving Colorado's Front Range for 49 years has an immediate opening for a Retail Sales Associate Trainee at our location in Englewood. This position requires moving / loading appliances, and resetting our showroom floor on a daily basis.
Job Requirements;
* Must Be at least 21 years of age
* No felonies or drug related charges (pass a federal background check).
* Valid Driver's License
* Working knowledge of Craigslist, Yelp, Google Ads, Facebook
* Assist customers in loading purchased appliances.
* Move appliances weighting up 250 pounds with an appliance dolly
* Ability to restock store with appliances as directed
* Gain knowledge of specific appliances and brands
* Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
* Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
* Advises customers by providing information on products.
* Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
* Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
* Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Retail Salesperson Skills and Qualifications:
Listening, Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Selling to Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, Job Knowledge
Our compensation and benefit program includes:
Starting pay of $16- $18 per hour based on experience
Employees are eligible for accrual of sick / vacation pay after 90 days
Federal holidays observed (paid after 90 days)
40 hours per week. Schedule to include weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
