Dr. Warren: “Dentistry is one of the most rewarding professions that can provide women independence and flexibility. It is demanding physically, so exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Cherish the relationships developed with your patients, they love the compassion and nurturing care that women have brought to the profession.”
Meet Dr. Warren:
Dr. Sharon Minott-Warren is a graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1992. After graduating, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, California. In 1993, she moved to Houston, Texas and practiced general dentistry for three years.
In 1996, Dr. Minott-Warren attended Oregon Health Science University to pursue a three year Residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. During those three years she also participated in extensive research on bone grafting and orthodontics.
Currently, Dr. Minott-Warren practices as a Specialist in Periodontics and Implantology at Bellaire Periodontics, located in the Houston region of Bellaire, Texas. In her commitment to empowering her female colleagues in Implantology, she founded the first local chapter of WIN (Women’s Implantology Network) in Texas in 2019. She is also the leader of a Spear Education Study Club and the Director of Bellaire Periodontics Hygiene Study Club. In March 2010, she was selected by the ADA to be an Evidence Based Champion in the practice of dentistry. This appointment charges her with the responsibility of disseminating the most current information and research available to providers through the ADA and the Cochrane Institute. Dr. Minott-Warren is certified with PACE to facilitate continuing education courses for dental professionals.
Dr. Minott-Warren has lectured both nationally and internationally. She continues to give lectures locally to other general dentists and their staff on current topics.
Dr. Minott-Warren regularly attends meetings of various organizations. She is an active member of American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Synergy Study Club, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Kyrslyne Thomas is a native of Georgia and grew up in the city of Atlanta. She received her Bachelors of Science from Georgia State University, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. After college, she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Augusta University, formerly Medical College of Georgia. After graduating, she worked in private practice in Atlanta, GA and Fairhope, AL until relocating to Houston.
Dr. Thomas believes in providing the highest quality dental care in the most caring and efficient manner.
She is committed to continually advancing her knowledge in dentistry and educating patients on the importance of oral health. She is currently affiliated with the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs, Gizmo and Arya. She also enjoys traveling, watching football, cooking, cake decorating, and spending time with her family and friends.

Meet Dr. LaCroix:
Dr. Laura Spencer LaCroix graduated from the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Southern University. She received her Doctorate of Dental Science degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. She completed her Advanced Education of General Dentistry from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
She has also completed continuing education courses from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. She is also Adjunct Faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. LaCroix is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. LaCroix has completed the 10,000 small business course through Goldman-Sachs. She has been honored in H Texas Houston’s Premiere Lifestyle Magazine as one of Houston’s Top Dentists in 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2012.
Dr. LaCroix has been blessed with two children, Mackenzie and Dylan. They are members of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Dr. Laura LaCroix loves spending time with her family and volunteering in schools. A healthy mouth is the beginning to a healthy mind, body, and spirit!

Today, Bellaire Periodontics recognizes Dr. Carlee Reiler for her contributions to General Dentistry!
We asked Dr. Reiler: What advice would you give to women interested in Dentistry?
Dr. Reiler told us,
“My advice to women interested in dentistry would be to surround yourself with like minded women, make time to network and grow from each other's experiences.”
Meet Dr. Reiler:
Dr. Carlee Reiler became interested in dentistry early on. She worked as an assistant before deciding to enter dental school. In addition, Dr. Reiler is truly engaged with her patients and their experiences and also focuses on the complexities of comprehensive care. She values her patients as a whole, not just their teeth.
Dr. Reiler graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1995. She is a proud member of the Spear Study Club, ADA, TDA, GHDS, and AADSM. She loves being involved with her community because she is able to communicate and share knowledge with her colleagues.
Furthermore, Dr. Carlee Reiler believes Dentistry has progressed. Being a part of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine allows her to stay current on materials, methods and technology.
