Last week, Three Points students had a real live apple tree come “visit” their class! The trees led to a discussion about the beauty of God’s creation and how to keep a tree healthy and alive. They also talked about the shapes of trees and their different parts. Then came the most fun part – planting! #bcs
Up all night attending class, sleeping all day.
Doing school “upside down” has been a unique challenge for our 11th grade student SiYi “Sissy” He. Learning from her home in China, she interacts with her teachers and classmates online overnight and in the wee hours of the morning.
Her favorite subject is math, with patient teachers who are always willing to answer her questions.
As a student at BCS for the past two years, Sissy discovered that, “Even though people are from different cultural backgrounds, they can still be friends and share their experiences with one another.” #bcs #vikingstogether #vikingstrong
This week, our Mack preschoolers worked together to collect donations for the Maltby Food Bank. In all grades, BCS students serve the community through Formational Learning Experiences (FLEx), giving them opportunities to meet the real needs of real people. Great job, students!

This week, BCS High School Senate is partnering with the Union Gospel Mission, making sandwiches for their daily Search & Rescue mission. The BCS student who organized this project said the Mission gives out 800 PB&J sandwiches every night to people living without shelter.
Covid-19 has put several UGM volunteer programs on hold, yet community needs continue to increase. Once the sandwiches are done, they will be packed and delivered to the Mission in downtown Seattle.

We're happy to announce that the Bellevue Christian Board of Directors has named Mr. Adam Hart as our new Junior-Senior High Principal (pictured on the right, beside Asst. Principal Mike Olson.) He's a familiar face to our students and staff - he first came to BCS in 2019.
Mr. Hart brings positivity and determination to the role, and we look forward to continuing to partner with him in our mission to prepare young people to live faithfully for Christ.
