Dr. Benjamin Schneider is a member of the UCLA Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty as an Assistant Professor. After completing his undergraduate at Stanford University where he studied Biological Sciences and Philosophy, he went on to medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore where his interest in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry blossomed. He gained invaluable clinical and research experience assisting Child & Adolescent Psychiatry research programs and moved to Los Angeles to complete his training.
As a diverse clinician with a foundation in bioethics and modern educational techniques, Dr. Schneider is capable of assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His clinical interests include treatment of child psychiatric conditions using modernized techniques and technology and issues involving medical and research-based ethics.
