We at Bergamo Tax are continuing to work to meet our clients’ tax, payroll, investment and accounting needs during these unprecedented times and thank you for your continued business. We were hopeful that by the 2020 filing season (in early 2021), things would be able to go somewhat back to “normal”. However, COVID-19 continues to cause upheaval to everyone’s daily living. Our “open to the public” office hours will be Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat from 9-12 and Tues and Thursday from 12-4. If the situation necessitates, these hours may be adjusted further so stay tuned to our website and Facebook for updates or call our office to check before coming. Our phones will be staffed during our normal business hours, Mon- Thurs 9-6, Fri 9-5 and Sat 9-12 beginning Feb 1st. OUR PHONE NUMBER IS 860-274-1655. We’d like to remind everyone of the alternative options to in person appointments and many electronic options to exchange documents and forms as well so that clients need not travel: We are offering “VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS” where you can video chat with us. We are offering APPOINTMENTS VIA PHONE for those clients with questions that do not need/want a virtual appointment, but still want to speak with one of our CPAs. As always, you can still DROP OFF your information here at our office either in person during business hours (masks required), or by leaving it in our locked Drop Box or NEW Mail Slot at any time. (Our lock box is located outside our front door on the pillar. Our NEW mail slot is located on our secondary entrance door to the right of our main door). No appointment is necessary for any of these options. Join our CLIENT PORTAL. Our portal is a secure way for you to upload and download documents. Once you establish your account, our client portal offers you the flexibility to upload documents to us securely. This also allows you to download any tax returns/docs that you request any time you need them! To register please go to our website, www.bergamocpa.com and click on the “Client Portal Login” tab at the top of the page. Our “SECURE SEND” feature on our website (www.bergamocpa.com) allows you to upload documents directly to any of our staff members without having to log in to do so. One of our staff members can send you a SECURE LINK through email in which you can upload documents directly to them. For clients that choose electronic means of providing tax documents to us, we offer E-SIGNATURE for required documents and E-DELIVERY of returns either through our client portal or through a secure email link once your returns are completed. Please let us know if you are interested in either of these features ahead of time.
