🐶PUPDATE!🐶 Little Armando has been discharged from the emergency vet! 🎉 At just 6-weeks-old, this 5lb pup has been through so much. While battling the terrible parasites that had made him anemic, his body temperature dropped to an alarmingly low temperature. However, he pepped up after a blood transfusion and finally started eating on his own! We are so, so thankful this little fighter pulled through.
Now that he's stable, he is in foster care with one of our staff members so that we can closely monitor his recovery. He is on quite a few medications to continue his treatment and help him recuperate. Armando is feeling SO much better and is starting to act like a puppy! ❤️ It'll still be a few weeks before he's healthy enough to be ready for adoption, so keep checking our website, animalhaven.org to see when he becomes available!
