We are proud to announce that we have re-opened our Best Western Plus today and look forward to the Governor announcing less restrictions on travel and our amenities (hopefully soon) so that we can get back to our usual operations!
Please know, Our Pools and fitness center, as well as our conference center, is still closed per the governors order. We will happily announce when those hotel amenities are back open for business.

This was the event that we had to cancel due to violating the governors latest revision to his executive order. Seriously? You cannot park your fish house in our parking lot, walk over to our restaurants and order take out, and then bring it back to your fish house and eat it? Not sure how that is 'unsafe'. Oh, but you could eat it in our parking lot if you were in a car or truck that was pulling the fish house. Sounds like something Dr. Seuss would write. "You cannot eat it near or far, not in a fish-house but in a car!"
A fun idea to wrap up a tough year and someone felt this was worthy of complaining about? Bring on 2021 PLEASE!!!

Our sincerest apologies to our hard working colleagues at Green Mill Willmar and Ruffs Wings and Sports Bar! A simple, safe promotion to have a little fun as we wrap up the new year results in some sort of violation of yet ANOTHER executive order from our Governor. You cannot participate in our first annual fishing derby and grab some take out and eat it in your fishhouse/camper if it's parked in our parking lot, according to said order. You can, however, grab that take out food and eat it in the vehicle (that pulled your fish house/camper here). I'm not sure who is more illogical, the person that felt they should file the complaint, or the executive order itself. As our colleagues posted on their fb page here, they are still open so please support them and order some take out, or enjoy their heated patios. Just don't eat it in a fish house. In our parking lot. With a spork.

We are sorry to announce that we were notified this afternoon by the Kandiyohi County Public Health Department that our New Year’s Eve Fishing Derby will have to be canceled.
The Governor through executive order 20—103 newly revised as of 12/24/2020 restricts the use of Ice Fish houses, tents and other such structures in a restaurant parking lot for dining!
Although we do not understand or agree with this order from Governor Tim Walz, we will comply, as we fully intend to keep our license and continue to operate our business up to the highest standards and codes.
We thank you for your continued support for our business and look forward to serving you in the year ahead.
Although the New Year’s Eve Fishing Derby will not be held this evening, please remember we are open for take-out and delivery, as well as our patios are open tonight normal hours for your New Year’s Eve dining pleasure!!
