Today BFM's and Residents said goodbye to such a sweet kind man, that we all call Grandpa. He is moving closer to be with his family. He sure will be missed by his Bickford Family back here in Champaign.

Our BFM's sure did work today and moved out the old furniture so the new could come in. Big things happening at Bickford.
We had a nail day in Mary B's today and also finished up some painting pictures.

We have been busy this week with painting pumpkin's and bagging candy. Our Resident's enjoyed doing the candy, one for the bag and one for them.
Today our Kitchen Manager Sharon made these cute little peanut butter pies that were amazing, thank you Sharon for the sweet treat's.

Ella our Community Relations Director's dog came and visited us on Halloween. She did have a costume on but did not leave that on very long, but did show our BFM's some trick's.

I want to thank every one of our Bickford Veterans...JB, John, Avery, Kevin, Ernie, Jack and Stan. I had a drawing for all of the Veteran's for this beautiful flag blanket and Mr. Stan won it! I think he is pretty proud of it. Thank you everyone who served our Country.

All of us from Bickford want to wish Stan and Pat a Happy 67th Anniversary. All of their kids and some grandkids and family came to help them celebrate through the window and brought a beautiful cake and some cards and flowers. What a beautiful accomplishment and a lovely family these two have.
It was our Resident Dorothy's Birthday yesterday and she said that I could take pictures of her love birds instead of her because they are prettier. Happy Birthday Dorothy!

What sweet Resident's we have!
It was Crazy Hair today. And Mary B's really participated in the crazy hair with the help of our BFM Felice. The winner of the crazy hair was Amanda our nurse, with a winter wonderland going on in her hair.
Did a little ELF work this morning and delivered Christmas cheer! We “adopted” 5 residents at Prairie Winds Supportive Living this Christmas. Their gifts are ready for Santa to deliver on Christmas Day!
During our Christmas Party our resident Hilda shared her Hanukkah with all of us that does not know about Hanukkah. We all enjoyed and participated in it. Thank you Hilda.

We had a visit today from this sweet girl named Whoopie. I think she will sleep really well tonight. Thanks to our Community Relations Director, Jennifer, for bringing her. She made the residents so happy.
