We are excited for Halloween here at Bickford! We decided to dress up early and take some pictures!
Mark your calendars for doing a good deed! Nov 1-17 Bickford is partnering with Ambassador Health, PhysMed Home Health & Serene Care Hospice to collect food items that we will put together for Thanksgiving meal boxes, and distribute to some seniors/families in our area. As you are doing your grocery shopping, can you pick up some of the items listed on the attached flier, and drop off at any of our sponsor drop off locations beginning Nov 1? We are excited to have our Bickford family participate in this food drive, and bring smiles to hurting hearts this Thanksgiving.

Marlo & Joyce are settling into their new home at Bickford. We are so happy to have them with us! Their sweet smiles bring joy to our hearts, and we hope to bring much joy to them as well.

BFM SPOTLIGHT: Celeste
Celeste has been with Bickford since 2016. She started out as the director at the Hickory Branch and then transitioned to Community Relations Director for both Omaha Bickfords in 2018. Celeste says she loves walking into the branch and seeing our residents. She says it feels like she is walking into her home with her family members! Bringing smiles to their faces bring her deep fulfillment. She loves each and every one of them. Her and her husband John have been married for 44 years. She had 2 adult children. Her son is married and he has a 10 year old! Celeste loves to do crafts and be with people! Thank you for all your hard work Celeste. We appreciate you!
Everytime Archie goes to see Lou he always gets a treat! These two are best buds!

Today is Jeff's last day as our cook. He lives outside of Omaha and decided these snowy roads between home and work are no longer the fun adventure they use to be. His new job is just 5 minutes from home! As a parting gift Jeff gave out chocolate roses to all of us. We sure are going to miss him.
We played a Valentine Game and enjoyed some smores!

Today was our first day implementing our Bickford Store! Residents can earn Bickford Bucks by participating in activities such as exercise, trivia, and bingo. Once a week, we plan to have our shop open & residents can cash in their earnings for prizes!
