What a beautiful scene to wake up to this morning! However, WARNING: If you haven’t blown your sprinkler out yet you had better turn the water off and drain any water pipes above ground. The garden yielded a total of 4,448.135 pounds of produce this year! For comparison, last year's produce total was 3,372.54 pounds. The Victory Garden plots alone yielded 213.5 pounds, all of which was donated to local Food banks! Thanks everyone for such a great season.

It’a not too late to water the plants you planted this year.
Anything planted this year, espesially evergreens need winter watering. Hopefully you have done this, if not, start now. A watering every week or two while the weather is above freezing is critical to success on the eastern slope of the Rockies. Even older evergreen will benifit from some water this year as it has been very warm, dry and windy.
