For over 55 years Bill's Well Drilling has been providing quality groundwater to Fayetteville and the surrounding areas. Bill's Well Drilling Company was started in October of 1960 by Nurman Bill and his wife, Mary. Together they purchased a used 35 Cyclone Cable Tool Rig, and realizing the potential for a water well drilling business in the Fayetteville area, they started a small family business that would become one of the largest water well drilling companies in southeastern North Carolina. With the addition of Thomas to the full day to day operation, the business began to grow in new directions. In 1978 the business incorporated and began drilling municipal wells. We were no longer a small “mom and pop” operation, we were a full-fledged corporation. Through the 80's Bill's Well Drilling purchased two new drilling rigs that further expanded our capabilities. After years of service in the industry, Thomas served as president of the North Carolina Groundwater Association. Under Thomas' leadership, Bill's Well Drilling became one of the most respected companies in the area, providing service to not only residential customers but to entire towns and counties extending all the way into South Carolina. Through the late 90's and into the early 2000's Thomas' sons Andrew and Jason Bill joined the operation, followed by their cousin Jonathan Kamionka. Today Jonathan continues to operate the business. Over the years the company have grown far beyond what Nurman ever envisioned but we still remember what it means to provide personalized and attentive service to all of our customers.
