Better late than never. We want to recognize our fearless leader's special talents. If you don't already know, Patty is quite the artist. She won 1st place for oil painting in landscapes as well as ocean scenes, along with Best of Show for oil paintings at the White County Fair this summer.
We had a great time at Habitat's annual Lunch on the Lawn event. We served up pinto beans, while our partner in crime, Heritage Wealth Management served up the cornbread and tea. The event raised over 12,500 which will be used on the three homes that they are working on now.
Had a great evening out at the Farm Field Day that is sponsored by the Cumberland County Soil Conservation District. Jim and Carol Burke, the winners of the 2018 Conservation Farmer of the year, were gracious enough to not only let the CCSCD use their farm for the experiment crop planting, but also welcomed everyone to a great evening of education, fellowship and food. Patty was asked to give a short speech on what we do here at Bilyeu CPA and Heritage Wealth Management. It was a great time with great people and great food. We hope to be apart of it again next year.
