Food banks have had a hard time maintaining a steady supply of food during the pandemic, all while experiencing an increase in requests for assistance. Birchwood Highlands supports community-based organizations like The Neighbors Place, which offers local Food Bank and Pantry services. Their motto is "People Helping People" and today, the people who make up the Birchwood Highlands family, were able to deliver a donation valued at over $2400 to help stock the shelves. PLEASE consider a donation to support a community service in your neighborhood!
What a beautiful sight to see our Monarchs gracefully spread their wings and fly away! Did you know that caterpillars don't have bones, but do have over 1000 muscles, and a butterfly weighs about the same as 2 rose pedals, yet can fly at speeds up to 30 MPH? It was fun raising these amazing little creatures!
We know you’re enjoying seeing Birchwood Highlands friends and neighbors on our Facebook page, but did you know you can also take a sneak peek into what’s happening at other Highlands sites?
