We are going to continue closing at 4pm the rest of this week, & we are super sorry for any inconvenience that creates for all y'all, our wonderful customers! Just like yesterday, most of us are still w/out power at home. Bathing is becoming sort of an issue! I regret to have to tell y'all, but we will not be providing a Family Dinner for this Saturday. We've got some obligations set up for this weekend & with all the setbacks of last week, it's just a bit too much to take on with our limited staff &, well, frankly, not enough hours in the day! We will have the cafe open as normal (unless something else comes along to knock us down another notch), so we'll be slinging our normal menu, just not the Family Dinner. Just for this week! We should be back in the saddle next Saturday, the 27th (crossing fingers). Trying to think optimistically here, without being too arrogant. Seems like the powers that be can tell when my confidence far exceeds reality.....does that only happen to me? Well, either way, hoping for the best, trying to prepare for the worst (....the worst that our imaginations can provide, clearly our imaginations didn't predict the last 11 months!) :/ So stay safe, stay warm, eat well & we'll see you on the next one! :D

Update: Sunday, Feb. 14th, Happy Valentine's Day! As most of you know, we were without power yesterday. We have power today, thank goodness, but now we need to assess our inventory & see what needs to be tossed. Thus, the cafe will be closed today & tomorrow. We're very optimistic that our walk-in cooler held like Fort Knox as it was reading at a low temp even with the power off (& why we didn't dare open it & let all the cold air out!)
