Just finished this new 320amp service. If you have a home that is over 3000 sq ft and all electric, then you will need this at a bare minimum. I have come across a lot of new homes, that are over 3000 sq ft all electric, and have a 200 amp service only. Over time you will have more equipment failures, and no room for future growth.

If your home was built between 1950 through the 1990’s you may have one of this two types of electrical panel in your home. The 1st two are know as Federal Pacific Breakers or FPE. The third is a Zinsco breaker. These breakers are known for not tripping and have caused electrical fires. Last year we did 10 restoration homes for electrical fire, and all had these breakers in common. These type of panels should be immediately replaced by a license professional. If you have these types of panels, give us a call for a quote. 210-749-3242
If you have a heat pump for a central air unit, make sure you set your thermostat on emergency heat, or AUX heat, which ever your thermostat says. Heat pumps are are no good below 38 degrees, unless you have an inverter for a compressor, which are usually 20 SEER and above. If you keep using your heat pump, it will freeze on you.
