Recording Studios
Blackwood Studios is a private, hand-crafted, recording & mixing studio, located in Cahuenga Pass facing Universal Studios.
The Studio facilitates both hourly sessions and monthly lockouts. With a building containing multiple studio apartments located right next door, we offer accommodation for our monthly clients and out-of-towners.
Blackwood Studios hosts sessions for major labels and publishing companies such as Sony ATV, Warener Chappell, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Warner Music Group, Def Jam Recordings, Epic, Artbeatz Entertainment.
Our Grammy nominated head engineer has recorded multiple platinum records like Daya’s Hide Away and Chainsmokers’s Don’t Let Me Down.
The Studio also offers project management for independent artists.
For mainly start-up artists, a link to a creative team and a business team is key. From the creative aspect, Blackwood Studios connects you to the right producers, songwriters, vocal coaches, vocal producers, video production team and more, to create an EP, LP or single.
From the business aspect, the Studio will connect you and your final product to all branding, media and marketing professionals, artist managers, business managers and pitch you to all major labels.
