Our firm was founded in 1986 by the merger of two well-known Lancaster County law firms whose roots extend back to the business practice of Richard J. Blakinger, the municipal practice of Charles B. Grove, Jr. and the agrarian and land use practices of Samuel S. Wenger and M. Elvin Byler. Today, Blakinger, Byler & Thomas, P.C., continues the practice of legal services for individuals, businesses, governmental bodies, and community organizations dating back to the 1930’s. We are a well-established firm with deep local roots, helping us to better understand our clients’ needs in the Central Pennsylvania area, and the sophistication and experience to handle the varied needs of local, national, and international clients.
