However, they've found some more leaks in the building, not as major as the one that resulted in first-floor flooding. Taylor County Commissioners meet in a special session tomorrow. Results: Our firm had a federal client with several additional felony and state charges that occurred at different times. We worked diligently to obtain minimal federal and state sentences and to secure dismissal of several other charges. Results: We recently represented a client in a felony meth case (more than user amount) in a rural county with high bail amount & felony conviction offer. We were able to get the client a significant bail reduction, got her released from jail shortly after, and worked the case until a lesser drug sentence with deferred (no conviction) was offered. #criminaldefense #abilenetx

Results: Our client was arrested for a high-level misdemeanor firearm offense with enough evidence to land them in jail. We worked case quickly and secured a diversion program deal where they can get the case dismissed if they complete a short-term program, instead of formal probation or jail time. Case resolved in less than 2 months. #criminaldefense #abilenetx

Results: We recently handled an Amicus case (friend of the Court) last month where a child tested positive for illegal drugs. We investigated case facts, contacted all parties, spoke with the parents about getting on track, and avoided a court hearing, court costs, and tons of attorney fees by setting up an action plan to keep the child safe while giving parents an opportunity to address their problems. #criminaldefense #abilenetx

Results: Felony motion to revoke representation of a client who had several prior MTR, over 20 violations, and multiple new and out-of-county charges. We worked with three prosecutors, probation departments, and courts to coordinate the best deal for the client to accomplish her goals. One case dismissed, one probation discharged without revocation—preventing a felony conviction—and a light TDCJ sentence. #criminaldefense #abilenetx
