House update! Some of the ladies served in Blue Cap's Residential Program went to check out our newest residential home today. Everyone was very excited to see how far the house has come!
Happy 81st Birthday, Addie! For Addie’s birthday all she wanted was to go shopping, to the casino and to get her favorite takeout food. Since everyone in the Residential Program is staying healthy at home her House Manager made sure the Casino, Walmart, KFC and McDonalds were brought to her. Join us in celebrating a very happy 81st birthday!
Today, Becky celebrated her birthday with her housemates and her favorite character, Spongebob! The other residential homes drove by to wish her a socially distant happy birthday. Join us in wishing Becky a Happy Birthday!
On January 16, 1967, 54 years ago today, Blue Cap responded to the needs of the community by providing a school program that served 25 students with intellectual disabilities.
In these 54 years Blue Cap has transformed into serving over 150 people on the southside of Chicago and more than 30 south suburban communities.

Happy Birthday Blue Cap! Today, everyone served in the Residential and Community Day Programs celebrated Blue Cap turning 54 tomorrow. Everyone in the Residential Program Zoomed in so we could all celebrate together. Cheers to 54 years! 🎉
On January 16, 1967, Blue Cap responded to the needs of the community by providing a school program that served 25 students with intellectual disabilities. Out of the first class, 5 people (pictured below) are still supported in our Adult Day, Senior, and Residential Programs.
