BMO has gone green! Finally reached “green” status, so things are loosening up a little here. Full access to the shop, masks still requested, and social distancing in our shuttle vans and shop. Inventory has been disappearing at a rate we’ve never seen before and we’re having trouble restocking, so give us a call if there’s something you’re interested in before driving out. Hoping for more shipments soon! River trips are rocking, so call ahead to reserve those also. Hope you’re all well and getting outdoors!

Approaching Marysville (home of BMO); we've been safe distancing for years!
Figuring it out on the fly! Yes, we will be doing rentals and shuttles this weekend (Friday, May 22 – Monday, May 25; closed Tuesday, May 26) but with restrictions. We’ll be running the lower Susquehanna (Marysville to West Fairview) and Conodoguinet Creek (Acri Meadow to West Fairview). Groups will be restricted to maintain social distancing, and masks will be required; call for details. 717 957-2413.
Our favorite color is blue (of course!) but it just might change to yellow. Yes, we are entering the “yellow” phase this Friday, May 22nd (just in time for Memorial Day Weekend!) Our shop will be open Friday, 5/22 through Monday, 5/25 from 10-6 (closed Tuesday, 5/26). That said, yellow does mean caution SO face coverings required (mouth AND nose, please!) and social distancing. We’re excited to be opening our doors again, but also want to make sure all of us stay safe. So put on your mask and come on in for our grand reopening sale!
Just a reminder that we are closed this weekend, October 10-12 for our annual staff retreat. After that we have off-season hours (Tuesdays 10-8, Wed - Sat 10-6, closed Sundays and Mondays.) Hope to see you soon, and have a great holiday!

BMO Fall 2020 Newsletter
So what’s in the fall 2020 newsletter? Some of our kayaks are leaving the rental fleet to be sold along with new canoes and kayaks received recently. We’ve included an overview of new canoe and kayak models for 2021. Our annual Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Sales are scheduled for Nov. 27th and Nov. 28th respectfully. There’s a new face here at BMO, Jeff joined our staff with several years of outdoor retail experience. Doug almost lost some of his hair to a hummingbird. That and more, so read and enjoy!

Just received a beautiful (as always!) Christmas ornament from Topher at Copius Glass; a Christmas pickle. Traditionally the first to find the pickle hidden in the Christmas Tree will experience good luck in the coming year. (We're hoping the wren family that nests in the tree will find it.)
