Blue Ribbon Pools has immediate openings for an Assistant Pool Technician. Must have a valid drivers license. Lifting and ability to work outside in various weather conditions required. Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and punctual. Only serious applicants need apply.
Individual must be drug free, dependable and show up to work consistently. No shows will not be tolerated. Must have a clean driving record and transportation to and from work. Candidates must also be in good physical condition as lifting over 80lbs is routinely required.
General mechanical ability and/or prior knowledge of swimming pools, plumbing or masonry are a plus, but not required. We will provide on job training for the right individual.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
• Assisting Foreman in construction, equipment repairs/installations.
• Assisting with general pool service including, but not limited to: pool cover repairs/installation, balancing water levels, administering required chemicals, checking pool equipment for proper function, and other professional pool wash/prep techniques.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Regularly checking to make sure company tools and equipment are working and that materials necessary for the day’s work are loaded properly.
• Ensuring work truck is clean and in working order.
• Leaving all job sites clean and organized to guarantee client satisfaction.
