"Besides killing germs, why is it a good idea to clean my bathrooms regularly?"
First, cleaning your bathroom regularly prevents mold. Because of the moisture and temperature, bathrooms are a hotbed for mold - with the right amount of elbow grease once a week this is easily avoidable, however.
Second, it prevents the growth of bacteria. Every time someone flushes the toilet with the bowl still open, tiny particles fly everywhere. These particles carry bacteria and need cleaning.
Lastly, cleaning your bathroom FIGHTS OFF ODORS.
What, if anything, should be taken away from this information? Close the lid before you flush.
How to prevent unwanted odors in your dishwasher:
Often, when dishes are put in the dishwasher, they're not fully prepared - leftover food will get caught at the bottom of your dishwasher, and over time begin to smell.
To combat this, after every one to three washes, we suggest pulling the bottom rack all the way out; check beneath it, and wipe out any leftover pieces of food.

The holidays are over, it's a new year, and it's finally time to deal with the mess you made doing all that celebrating... Marvelous Maids & Blue Skies Services is here to help!
"Where do I even start?"
Well, here's what you'll need:
- Vacuum
- Mop
- Duster
- Patience
- As many leftover cookies as you can find.
First, you want to work your way from the top down. Start with taking down those Christmas decorations; because if yours are anything like mine, they are as MESSY as they are beautiful. From glitter to fake snow it seems like my Christmas decorations leave a bigger mess than my guests do.
After you've got all your Christmas Decorations put away for next year - start back at the top. Dust those hard to reach shelves, vents, and ceiling fans - now's also a great time to dust the top of any appliances in your home. From your fridge to your TV - exterminate those dust bunnies.
Next, take a break, eat a cookie, and give yourself a pat on the back because you're almost done.
Following your well-deserved break, break out the vacuum and start getting the dust, glitter, and fake snow that piled up. Now would be the perfect opportunity to vacuum your furniture as well.
After all that all that's left to do is mop the floor and eat more cookies - you did it.
