We have been advocating and fighting for this and now we need YOUR voice to help support! We proposed and the Cabinet for Health & Family Services – Division of Public Health Protection and Safety has filed administrative regulations that will require CBD brands to follow product and label requirements. This is a huge WIN for the hemp industry AND for consumers. Beneficial for all!
Many products on the market are less than credible, hurting the hemp industry’s reputation and lowering consumer confidence. This regulation will standardize CBD product labeling, bringing some much needed consistency in the industry. It also clears up a gray area and addresses CBD used as a food additive – whether it happens during the manufacturing process or prior to retail sale at the restaurant/bar level.
Just like last time we asked for your help, there will be a hearing prior to implementing. We encourage every Kentuckian, especially those who this would affect, to participate in the process and file comments accordingly. Let them know that this regulation must be passed. Help us protect CBD consumers and the industry we fought so hard to bring to Kentucky!

November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month and as most of you may know, this month hits close to home for our BHO family. We were founded for our son, Colten, who was diagnosed with Idiopathic Generalized Epilepsy at age 3. After a dim prognosis and pharmaceutical roulette, we decided to search for an alternative treatment away from pharmaceuticals.
