COVID-19 Drop-off Policy: Curbside MethodFor all clients• When you arrive at the parking lot, please call our front desk at:Jacksonville – 904.646.1287Orange Park – 904.278.0287Gainesville – 352.672.6718• Our customer service representative will ask you about your pet’s symptoms. If we determinethat the situation is critical, we will get your verbal authorization for emergency care.• We will ask for your information, your pet’s information, your vehicle make and model.• Our technician will come to your vehicle and speak to you through the window (more than 6-foot distance) to confirm your information and inform you of the next steps. You will beinstructed to either drop off your pet or stay in the car while your pet is being taken into thehospital for assessment.• Using a disposable pen, you will be asked to sign the authorization to treat your pet. Your petwill be removed from your vehicle in a secured carrier or double-leashed.• Our technician will take your pet into the main hospital for assessment.• Your pet will be brought to the treatment area and assessed. We will determine if your petneeds to stay hospitalized for diagnostics or can be treated and released to you.• Our medical team will call you with initial findings and secure authorization fordiagnostics/treatment/hospitalization.• You will receive a verbal estimate over the phone.• Payment information will be taken at the time of the intake or discharge via a credit card that ishandled with gloves, swiped into the machine and placed in a zipped plastic bag and returned toyou. To assist us in our prevention efforts, we ask that you please consider the following precautions concerning both appointments and emergency situations: If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or are quarantined due to potential COVID-19 exposure, please call ahead so we can ensure your pet’s needs can be met and advise you on next steps.---------The BluePearl pet hospital in Orange Park was formerly known as Affiliated Veterinary Specialists, North Florida Neurology and Clay-Duval Pet Emergency Clinic.Our equipment includes a CT scanner and an MRI machine, as well as an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation and a 3D printer for use in neurosurgery. Our two buildings include facilities for oxygen therapy, electrocardiograms and more. We are fully equipped as an emergency animal hospital and use all of our resources to give your pets the best possible care.
