In late 2006 Bocado became Worcester’s first authentic Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant. Bocado, which means “mouthful” in Spanish, opened inside an old factory in the Canal District. Featuring over 40 different tapas, imported meats and cheeses and signature Paella, there are many different flavors to experience. The atmosphere is a combination of rustic with original brick walls and wood floors and modern with curvy leather upholstery and sultry lighting. The “Bocado Experience” begins the moment you are greeted at the door, continues at the bar where knowledgeable bartenders will guide you through an exclusively Spanish wine list and then on to the table where expert servers will complete the flavorful trip to Spain with tapas suggestions you won’t soon forget.
