Who shopped at Bozo’s when it was located in Tysens Shopping Plaza? 👉If you've served in the U.S Military, or wear good quality "work clothes," from brands like Carhartt and Timberland, you've likely visited Bozo's Army & Navy Store at some point in time. While the store was launched in 1963 in Brooklyn (photo #3) the shop debuted on Staten Island in the Tysens Shopping Plaza in New Dorp in 1973. Thanksgiving is a bit different this year, less people at the table but more gratitude than in years past. We appreciate all of our loyal customers for continuing to shop local here at Bozo's Army & Navy store. We wish a Happy, Healthy and Safe Thanksgiving Holiday to you and your families. We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but open on Black Friday through the holiday season.
We are both proud and grateful to have been able to participate in our small way to this wonderful family film. Julio Vincent Gambuto and the Boro 5 Team have set and filmed Team Marco right here on Staten Island. Showcasing Staten Island and involving many of it's local businesses, it is a job well done. A perfect movie to watch during this holiday season. Grab the kids, get the grandparents (or set them up on a zoom call) and make some popcorn. As a matter of fact pick up some rainbow cookies instead. Good chance you will be buying bocce balls as Christmas gifts this year!
