WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGY?
Functional Neurology is a way of assessing the patient to see how the structural and physiological parts of the nervous system are working. It is a research- receptor based approach to seeing how the whole body is functioning. The nervous system controls all aspects of how we think, feel, and interact with the world, but when not working can create all sorts of dysfunctions.
These dysfunctions can be in many forms; such as, physical/mental pain, balance disturbances, brain fog, blurry vision, headaches, and much more. We look at all aspects of the body to see what is and what isn’t working to see how we can better optimize different areas. The body is a very dynamic and functional organism and should be accessed in such a way that takes that into consideration.
